I'm still going strong, though I figure not for more than another hour. I have entered "the zone," which for me is that state of mind where I start to think that, yes, I can live without the printout of that 2001 translation of a hydrographic study done in Severoslobovsk, assigned by a company that thanked me, paid me, and hasn't used me since.

I just unearthed an application I filled out just before my last trip to Houston, in response to a query from an agency in New York. Why is it that the chances of getting work appear to be inversely proportional to the length of the application? This is not the first time this has happened, either.

My current quarry is the rent-a-car receipt from that Houston trip; also, the title to the Civic. Neither seems within reach.
