On track...
Apr. 14th, 2005 08:51 pmI finished today's portion of work in good time, and it doesn't seem to make sense to post yet another progress graphic (or any such graphics, unless I expect a project to run for more than a couple-three days). Tomorrow, I'll check the work, send it off, invoice it, and then start on the acoustics material, which beats geology any day.
My health appears to be improving, perhaps the result of improved sleep quality. It took me some time to fall asleep last night, too, and I woke up around 3 am (why, I don't know), but I was able to get up at 6:15 am without an alarm, in plenty of time to make my court appearance. I have not felt any urge to take a nap these past couple of days, and my BP seems to be behaving, as well.

As you may know, I left my job a few weeks ago in order to devote myself full-time to del.icio.us. In order to make that posssible, I accepted an investment from a group of thoughtful and influential investors. The group I chose to work with understands my commitment to maintaining the integrity of the service and the security of your data. They were also willing to take a minority stake, which will keep me in control of the future of del.icio.us.Nothing's to say that the site won't continue to maintain its integrity and security, but let's just say there may be some interesting forks in the road up ahead. Having massive bookmark collections on individuals has got to have some market value, if only in terms of targeting text ads to appear on the right-hand side of the page.

Date: 2005-04-15 02:53 pm (UTC)Back in February, before your mom left for Texas, I got stopped in her car (taillight not working). There was no registration in the car (it was in your mom's purse, having been put there after being stopped for... taillight not working), so I got written up for it. I had planned on paying by mail, but that ol' debbil Prokras Tinashun almost did me in.
Cheers...

Date: 2005-04-15 03:59 pm (UTC)The weird thing is, is I haven't felt like this since probably high school.
Well, okay, maybe not. But regardless, I'm a little worried about the fact that when my alarm goes off, I am spending more energy convincing my body to stay in bed rather than get up and turn off the alarm.
I mean hell, I woke MOM up with all of my snoozing.
