Sliding through Saturday...
Jul. 30th, 2005 03:19 pmI've got a few irons in the fire today.
First, and most important for Galina, is cleaning the garage. I've made some progress there, but likely not enough.
Second, I gathered up enough gumption to razor a duplicate dictionary, which I intend to scan and OCR. The dictionary is one of a number of English-Russian books that I've accumulated over the years, very few of which have ever been used much, since it's difficult to look up Russian terms in such books (the general approach involves guessing what the English is, and then looking up the guessed word; sometimes it works, more often it doesn't).
Third, I'm cooking the pork roast in the slow cooker, which reminds me... I need to go check it.
Cheers...

Date: 2005-07-31 05:33 am (UTC)I have finished reading the GTD book today and proceeded to "Take Back Your Life (using Microsoft Outlook to get organized and stay organized)" by Sally McGhee.
I feel I'm "nearly there" in terms of making all the ideas found there to work for me. Forging my new life as well...
