Combined ops eve...

It was a truly crazy day at work today.
There was a safety briefing to interpret (newcomers are obliged to listen, in mind-boggling detail, to various information related to health, safety, and access), followed by a knock-down, drag-out meeting on the combined ops schedule. I interpreted for both.
The revised combined ops schedule had to be delivered ASAP, and considering the number of dings the interpreters have been the subject of (not our fault, actually), it was crucial for the revised schedule to get out without delay. I finally got the files around 8 pm and used every trick in the book to get them translated properly in as short a time as possible, so at least that weight was lifted from my shoulders.
Then it also turned out to be the last day at Baikonur for the prop team, so another "mass meeting" took place out front, with a wood fire and drink (and pizza!) for all, for most of the past couple of hours.
I am the early guy in tomorrow, so I need to get some shuteye.
Cheers...
