Weekend Tuesday...

alexpgpIt has occurred to me that weekends spent working in slog mode ought to be compensated for somehow. So today, after calling Galina, I declared the day an official Saturday.
Thereupon, after taking care of a short translation job (I do work weekends, dontchaknow), I joined members of the extended family at The Springs, downtown. I only stayed for a couple of hours, but it was worth the price of admission.
Afterward, I ran by the post office, then the grocery store (forgetting the bank..., my bad). And then I spent time going through paperwork.
Dinner was a piece of cube steak, a couple of cobs of fresh corn, and a measure of sake to wash it all down.
The paper pile looks no smaller, but I have done my duty, and look forward to the morrow.
There are items on the plate, but not of a critical nature. Life is good.
