Taking care of business...

alexpgpI'm almost halfway through Sunday, and there's still so much left to do.
I've managed to move myself from my old room to the one I'll sleep in tonight, and that's only underscored just how much more stuff I have now than I did when I arrived at the end of April. It also means I'm going to have to be fairly aggressive in getting rid of stuff.
Fortunately, my client maintains a room at this hotel devoted to storage of campaigner's stuff. I've made use of this feature in the past, although there's really no telling when I'll be back, if ever.
By this time in the game, I'm almost at the point where I could probably show up with an empty suitcase and make out okay. My "cache" includes underwear, tee shirts, socks, a pair of jeans, a shirt with a collar, an aloha shirt, a French-English dictionary, and some other goodies. All of it fits in two small backpacks.
I don't want to start expanding my cache, but neither do I want to throw out serviceable items.
Throw in the fact that I must be substantially finished (if not actually finished) with this week's LJ Idol entry by the time I go to sleep tonight - it'll be family, family, family once I hit Moscow on Tuesday after tomorrow's full day of work and a late flight out - and the pressure is on.
So I should probably get in the right mood for going through stuff with an eye to throwing a bunch of it out.
