alexpgpOver the past two decades, I've submitted proposals for and presented about a dozen sessions at various ATA conferences. The last one I did, in Boston in 2011, was held in a fairly large room, involved a standing-room-only crowd, and garnered quite a few nice comments from attendees who filled out session evaluations.
And up until today, I've never had a proposal rejected.
I've gotta say, it smarts a little (although I think the actual source of that smarting is the form-letter rejection).
On the plus side—see, I'm already looking at the plus side!—it's just one more item off my to-do list.
