Chalk up another meeting...
May. 18th, 2005 10:36 pmThis meeting has set some records, most of which sound pretty puerile when laid out on phospher. In short, everyone worked hard (my day's billing stands at 12.8 hr) and got the job done. As we made our farewells, many kind words were said about the quality of my support, which is always gratifying.
I was going to be on the hook for tonight's farewell dinner, but work interfered and put the kibosh on the meal. Maya will be helping see off the Russian delegation tomorrow at the local airport, while I hope to sleep in for a couple of hours and then pack my stuff and get on the road home.
I also have to remember to check my email for a copy of the "alive and well" statement, which I could not find on my machine, on my email, or printed out among any of my papers. The closing was delayed one day, to tomorrow, so I will have to send it then. Galina tells me that she'll be headed up to Pagosa once the house is closed. I can't wait.
Cheers...
