Strange 'net behavior...
Dec. 2nd, 2005 07:48 amI don't know if my bacon is being saved by my Outpost firewall, which runs a DNS cache of its own, or whether it's just some kind of weirdness with my ISP, but outside a very small circle of web sites (my hope page, LJ, and my email) I keep getting 'site could not be found' messages very consistently, and I've been getting this since mid-afternoon yesterday. One way to better determine where the problem might be would be to try to access such sites from the store, but I as long as the email works today, I'll not fret.
I elected not to go to the ham breakfast this morning on the basis of the principle of three 2s: too dark, too cold, and too tired. As penance, I shall have to optimize the rest of the day (and believe me, there's plenty to optimize!).
Cheers...
