Natalie and I got out of the house a little on the late side today, and so when I was dropped off at JSC I had to boogie to get to Building 9, where the stowage class was being held. I didn't feel too good when I got there, and the feeling didn't quite go away for a while.

In between sessions, I tried to get some freelance work done, and actually did get some done, but not enough. I also uncharacteristically refused a telecon tomorrow morning, because having Natalie drop me off early (with all that it entails once I get out of the car at the security checkpoint) simply isn't worth it for a one-hour gig. (If I had had my head on straight last week, I would have declined today's crew training assignments, but as such sessions are the closest that I - or about 99.99% of everyone else, for that matter - will ever get to actually travel in space, I'm not too disappointed that I agreed to interpret the sessions.)

Dinner tonight was angel hair pasta with pesto, a romaine salad with tomatoes and sliced cucumber, and slices of Italian boule with broschetta. During dinner, Natalie was curious to know if I felt our meals were "elaborate." I didn't think so, though I think they are tasty.

I started to watch a Russian news program on the "media center" that I tinker-toyed together from Natalie's old Dell, her Triniton, and an assortment of cables, but fell asleep, apparently, for some time. I wonder if it's going to interfere with my getting to sleep tonight?

In any event, I plan to move Shiloh's crate from the tiled area near the kitchen to the master bedroom, since I don't like having to tiptoe around at night to prevent any stray noise from waking the dog and provoking a wild, banzai-like session of wailing. I kept the dog in the room with me last night, and she seemed to do well on the floor (and even refrained from soiling the carpet).

Which reminds me... it might help things if I kept the dog from sleeping in the early evening. Such activities should be engaged in... while everyone else is sleeping! (I'm off to bother the dog!)

Cheers...
