On station...
Jul. 12th, 2007 07:33 amNatalie and I got out of the house in good time, allowing me to walk at a reasonable pace from the security checkpoint to Building 30. I've been up for 3 hours, after another quiet night with the dog in the room.
I managed to go for a 15-minute walk with Shiloh this morning, hoping to get her somewhat tuckered before she's faced with a long stint in her crate. I noticed that I was passing the lead behind my back quite a bit as we walked, as Shiloh "orbited" around me as I walked down the street.
I am in position, with headset on and loops dialed in. A cup of coffee is at hand. There is, as yet, no activity to speak of on the loops, and the Russians arrived a few minutes ago. Eleven and a half hours to go!
Cheers...
