And now, a word from a new client...

Note to self: Bump updating your CV up a couple of notches, okay?
* * * In other news, I managed to get to the 5500-words-left mark last night (or close enough). This morning, however, I've lost a lot of time researching some terms (most notably надморенный водоносный горизонт, which I eventually decided was simply a moraine aquifer), so I've only translated about 1000 words of what's left. At this rate, I might finish by the time I hit the sack tonight, after a pretty long day.
One thing is certain, however: the document won't translate itself.
Cheers...
I can't help it, but the wording of the second sentence creates a singular image in my mind of someone attempting to "insert" a document into a database. But I pick nits. It's always nice to get a note like this.
Thanks for your accurate translation and prompt delivery of our project.
When you have a chance, please send us your CV to insert into our
database for future reference.
It's been a real pleasure working with you. We look forward to work together again in the near future.
