Nov. 24th, 2011 09:04 pmThe people who were supposed to see the house this morning decided instead to see it tomorrow, but we didn't get the message until much later, so it's as if we did the whole spiff-it-up-and-make-ourselves-scarce routine for nothing.
Normally, that's no big deal, but it put a huge disruption in my work for the day (and promises to do the same tomorrow), so I only completed about 3,000 words for the day (and many of those were numbers in tables). Still, the plate is currently loaded, but I expect to take care of outstanding assignments over this weekend, which may help keep November out of the "dismal" column, in terms of invoicing.
Dinner was leftover turkey from yesterday (that's right... we baked our turkey yesterday) with some mashed sweet potato, steamed asparagus, and an improvised fennel-and-mushroom salad. Galina liked it, and so did I.
I had a moderately active day today. I set no records in any fitbit department, but have logged a bit more than 7500 steps for the day.
Time to go take it easy. Happy Thanksgiving to all!
