That sound of scorched electrons...
Feb. 16th, 2012 11:07 amI am going to have to make a point of checking Word files for fields that display text, because it turns out that not only does Wordfast not understand how to play nicely with such entities, but memoQ simply goes and displays tags at you, so unless you're savvy enough to be looking at the source document while using memoQ (to get an idea of why the tag is there), you might find yourself—as I did last night while editing a partial delivery—having to do a lot of extra work after you've finished the translation.
In other news, that sizzling sound of electrons being consumed in fire was coming from my Internet connection. A total of 63 files hit my inbox for translation.
I'm still trying to figure out what-all I've been given to work with.
Cheers...
