Not much happening...
Nov. 22nd, 2012 08:36 pmThe FCC finally got around to processing my paperwork, so today was my first full day as AF5HP.
Naturally, like any good radio amateur, I spent a little time trying to come up with a little mnemonic phrase that was better than the NATO standard "Alfa-Foxtrot-Five-Hotel-Papa" (where the number is pronounced as two syllables, sounding a little like "figh-yuv").
I came up with nothing really compelling, but I've got time.
* * * I did try to get some work done, but spent most of the day sorting through stuff. Not enough got thrown out, but I suspect it will take an effort of will to get into a suitably ruthless mood for that kind of thing.
In the end, I actually got no translation work done at all. The upside is that I didn't otherwise spend all that much time at the computer.
* * * No t'ai chi tonight, but I may take sifu's offer and do a make-up session tomorrow, at the qigong class
Cheers...
