Forward motion...

Galina found a car she liked, mostly. I like it, too. The computerized check gave the car a good rating. We put a deposit down on it, and will proceed with the rest of the paperwork once some minor repairs are done (e.g., replace headlight that has condensation inside).

I managed to process yet more end-of-fiscal-year translations, and since the end client doesn't work on Fridays, I have some time to contemplate the idea of something my client mentioned a few days ago: a slowdown from this particular end client once the end of year deadline is past. A lot of negative where-is-the-money-coming-from thoughts have been harshing my mellow, lately, likely propped up with the whole new (as in "another") car rigamarole.
