It may be just my imagination...
Feb. 15th, 2015 08:55 pmI've had the devil's own time with Skype on Android the past couple of days.
Several calls—or attempts at calls—did not terminate upon my pressing the red "disconnect" icon. In one such case, the screen indeed did go blank, but I found out—nearly four hours later—that the call was still ongoing (and shudder to think what size chunk of my monthly data allowance disappeared because of it).
Then there was the curious instance of Skype requiring me to log in—which I found strange considering I have been logged in for some time—and then telling me that no login was possible. I eventually decided to actually turn off the device entirely and then power it on again, whereupon starting the Skype app brought up a session in which I was logged in, as before.
Go figure. Then again, doesn't Microsoft now own Skype?
It's been an interesting weekend. Last night was, I think, the first during which I stayed asleep for most of the time between midnight and 6 am. I hope to do better tonight.
Cheers...
