Tired...

It took a solid eight hours to edit about 8,000 words, which represents progress, but I'm probably going to go right back and work for a few more hours to get a head start on December.

As I go through my "bullet journal," I am finding entirely too may days being taken up with activities that take me away from the computer. Pretty much all of them are beneficial (else I wouldn't be doing them), but still...

Every day of poor (or no) productivity will simply increase the "nut" I have to produce on a daily basis.

Enough malingering! Back to the face...

Well, maybe not.

So since my previous post, I've finished two of the four jobs I owe to my best client and started and finished a third, leaving one job.

The jury is out on whether I'm crazy enough to try to start it tonight, much less try to finish it.

I broke my fast this morning with two soft-boiled eggs and a salad with sardines out of a can (with olive oil, vinegar, and a touch of kimchi), washed down with "fatty" coffee.

Late in the afternoon, I figured there was no percentage in going for a complete third day just to say I'd done it, so I had another salad with a thin slice of gorgonzola cheese and a handful of mixed nuts. This went down with a cup of black coffee.

Now, if I were counting calories—and I'm not—I figure the eggs come in at about 160; the sardines, 130; the olive oil, 240; the nuts, 170; the butter and coconut oil, about 270; the gorgonzola, 100; and the vinegar and coffee, negligible.

Overall, that's about... 1070 calories or so.

I engaged in this little exercise just to get an idea of where today's food intake would stand with respect to the 2,000–2,500 calories that conventional wisdom says is right for a person.

So I ate about half of what's "normal." I don't feel deprived.

What's curious however, is that the late afternoon meal really didn't satiate my appetite. Go figure.

Cheers...
