Which LJers match my interests?
Apr. 1st, 2002 07:49 pmIt's nice to see the "similar interest" search come back. I recall trying it out way back when, with a much smaller crowd of LJers, but don't recall if the results meant anything to me then.
Placing my own humble self into the slot as the exemplar of what to look for in an LJer, the top four hits were:
Interestingly enough,
morlly is already an LJ friend, albeit she posts rarely. On a whim, I tickled the profile page for
topher and read:
* * * I huffed, and I puffed, and finally finished the first draft of the geophysics article for client M. Earlier, in response to an RFH (request for handholding) call, I quickly reviewed and sent off the two pages done previously. I estimate I have about another hour or so left before I can send this one down the same path as its predecessor.
Client U called with 7,000 words for (this) Wednesday. I said no. Client S called from New Mexico with 16 pages for sometime next week. I said yes. (This reminds me of some lines from Cyrano, near the very, very end, but I digress...)
* * * Music is what has been keeping me sane the past few days.
It is such a thin structure upon which to lean one's weight.
Cheers...

-
topher, with a weight of 24.948 -
morlly, with a weight of 21.657 -
sleepy, with a weight of 21.149 -
developers with a weight of 20.257
Interestingly enough,
I am an arrogant, opinionated, stubborn, overbearing, pretentious, incorrigible, shameless, smart assed bastard.Hmmm. I only match this guy to the extent of 24.948? Heck, with a line like that, one'd think we were, perhaps, twins separated at birth!
