Who would've thought it possible?

I just spent the past couple of hours modifying the Perl script for Doug and Kat.
I did so by ssh'ing into onegin, whose ftp program allows execution of chmod from the ftp command line (as compared with the prissy, brain-damaged version of ftp that runs under Windows in what looks like a DOS session). There, I edited the script and uploaded it to my client's server, and then tested the results directly from here.
Indeed, I actually got the thing to work, unless I am mistaken. And my mods are "future friendly" (i.e., I should have no major problems expanding the functionality I built in).
* * * I had planned to drop by my (translation/interpretation) client's office this morning after my shift, but I was pretty tired. Getting home was a challenge and I fell asleep without much trouble, staying that way for 4 hours. Thus, I've gotten a solid 8 hours of shuteye, just not in one session.
I think I will try getting at least a couple of hours in before leaving for work tonight.
Cheers...
