Sunday glide path...

I'm going to have to figure out a way to take weekend days during the week and as they come, because this past weekend seemed to be Yet Another Weekend Spent Doing Work™.
I finished the long piece and sent it off, and am all but finished doing a 19-slide PowerPoint file, which is due tomorrow morning.
I am actually looking forward to settling down in a few minutes and watching Tom Selleck in the latest Jesse Stone installment on CBS. In my opinion, Selleck does a fine job of bringing Robert B. Parker's character to life.
Speaking of character, I've completely gone nuts and managed to write a first draft of the next competition essay. The arc seems okay, but right now, it's just a first draft - or that's what I tell myself - so there isn't much substance hiding in the corners.
Time to shut down for the night.
Cheers...

Date: 2009-03-03 01:54 am (UTC)For some reason, for the longest time, I avoided watching Spenser for Hire for the same perceived reason: I figured the show'd be a cheap knockoff of the original. And while there are some weak epidsodes, overall, once I started to watch the show (home sick from work), I felt that Robert Urich and Avery Brooks - and the writers, natch - did enough justice to the concept to become a fan.
